A double under the roof, up a steep flight. Hot in July, and the one room we discount for.
A double bed under the eaves, reached by a stair with fourteen steep steps and a rope handrail. It has a window unit and a ceiling fan, and on a July afternoon it still runs warmer than the rest of the house. If your party is six rather than eight, we would leave this room empty and tell you so.
Ceiling height at the bed is five foot ten. Anyone taller sits up carefully.
