A 1948 kitchen with a new gas range in it. No dishwasher, and we are not putting one in.
Six-burner gas range from 2022, a full-size fridge with an ice maker, a chest freezer in the basement if you are cooking for the week. No dishwasher: the cabinets are the original ones and taking one out for a machine would cost the room its only long worktop.
There is enough of everything for eight — plates, glasses, cutlery, two roasting tins, a stock pot, a cast iron pan that lives on the range and does not go in water.
